About Us

Rocky Mountain Sports Counseling Center supports athletes navigating the mental and emotional challenges that can arise throughout their athletic careers.

Athletes face unique pressures — competition, injury, expectations from coaches and families, and identity closely tied to sport. Our goal is to provide a safe, confidential space where athletes can reflect, grow, and develop the emotional resilience needed to succeed both on and off the field.

We work with athletes across all levels, helping them build the mental foundation necessary for both performance and life beyond sport.

Who We Serve

At Rocky Mountain Sports Counseling Center, we support athletes and the people who play an important role in their athletic journey.

We work with athletes across all levels of sport, including youth, high school, collegiate (NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA), transfer portal athletes, semi-professional and professional athletes, Olympic and Paralympic athletes, as well as recreational, club, and international athletes.

Sport often brings periods of challenge and change. We support athletes navigating injury recovery, burnout, performance anxiety, major transitions between teams or levels of competition, and life beyond sport.

We also work with the people who support athletes every day — including coaches, athletic trainers, parents, and families navigating recruitment or major athletic transitions.

Our counseling approach recognizes that the demands of sport extend beyond performance and focuses on evidence-based performance principles and whole-person care.

Dr. Brooke Ewert is the founder of Rocky Mountain Sports Counseling Center and a licensed professional counselor specializing in the mental health needs of athletes.
